Welcome to Mikazuki!

We're an izakaya featuring charcoal grilled skewers and all-you-can-eat Yanxian style BBQ.We aim to offer a comfortable place in a sometimes unforgiving world.Come in and sit down with friends, or share some stories and drinks with the chefs.

What is Yanxian BBQ?

Fresh offerings of meat and seafood are brought to your table to be cooked by your own hand upon a flat top grill available at every table.Succulent, perfectly cooked meat to each patron’s own specifications are then dipped in your choice of house made sauces, and optionally wrapped in lettuce
or eaten with rice for a perfect pairing.

Mikazuki offers settings for solo/couple patrons at the bar counter, as well as two tables for larger parties.Don’t feel like cooking?No problem, just request one of the available staff and we’ll handle it for you.

Wasabi Takoyaki Challenge

Challenge a staff member, your friends, or other patrons to the takoyaki challenge! Eat as many wasabi takoyakis as you can handle! Whoever remains conscious standing at the end wins 50k!Fee to start the challenge, payable by one person or combined: 10kOOC:
Players will do a first /random to determine order, going from highest roll first to lowest roll last.[Example]
A: 954
B: 102
C: 99
D: 885Then order is:
A, D, B, CAll players then roll /random depending on their order, with each one following the number rolled by the previous player.A rolls /random → 564
D then rolls /random 564 → 333
B then rolls /random 333 → 102
C then rolls /random 102 → 10This continues until a player reaches 1, in which case they’ll be eliminated and the remaining players return to the previous number rolled before 1.Example:
A rolls /random 10 → 5
D rolls /random 5 → 1 [D is eliminated]
B rolls /random 5 → 2
C rolls /random 2The process repeats until there is only a single player remaining.
When playing within a party composition, please use /dice command!Feel free to write out the dramatic theatrics of challenge deaths.
The wasabi is real and it’s eye wateringly hot!

Interested in someone but don’t know how to ask?Want to pass something to an associate without being seen?Using the izakaya to seal a hidden deal?Whatever the purpose, feel free to enclose it in one of the provided envelopes and hand it to a staff member.Tell us who the recipient is and we’ll deliver it for you hidden in a pocket or tucked artfully beneath a tray, no one will suspect a thing.Ordering said person a drink is entirely optional.OOC: An option for those who might be shy about reaching out first, while also respecting the izakaya’s shadier dealingsThis note system is handled through tells.
